Stories and means for awareness of inconvenient realities
MARCO PAGLIAI and ALBERTO ALESSI
This book is addressed to those wishing to understand horses and are aware of the equestrian world’s distorted view oriented more and more towards human benefit and less and less towards the horse.
It is a world in which everyone appears to want the wellbeing of their own horse but are inclined to find it wherever it is more suited to the equestrian world itself. Human feelings and prejudices are often exploited so as to distance us from reality in our daily lives with horses. One cannot speak of wellbeing, respect, training and ethics if one is not capable of seeing the real feelings the horse is experiencing.
A mix of science, theology and human psychology will guide us along a path of personal growth with the horse’s wellbeing as the only goal.
Addestramento Etologico (Ethologic Training) is the result of the creation of a group of equestrian professionals aimed at spreading knowledge of a form of equestrianism aimed at the horse’s wellbeing following the scientific rules of animal learning. Over the years Addestramento Etologico has always been active in the fields of research, education and public events so as to share its principles.
Its mission has never changed: To bring about innovation, understanding and consideration of horses in the equestrian world so that horses can derive maximum benefit from this.
